Sierra State Parks Foundation is dedicated to providing
operational
funds to maintain the Sierra Districts’ State Parks for the
public’s
benefit. As California
faces an on-going budget crisis, so does the State Park system.
It's expensive to
restore historic sites,
provide
educational programs
and hire adequate staffing.
We depend upon our members, private
donations, tour fees, merchandise
sales and special events, as well as with corporate and foundation
